These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of SoGrizz Quilting's Website, located at https://sogrizzquilting.com.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use SoGrizz Quilting if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

License:

Unless otherwise stated, SoGrizz Quilting owns the intellectual property rights for all material on https://sogrizzquilting.com. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access SoGrizz Quilting materials for your own personal use, subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

• Copy or republish material from SoGrizz Quilting

• Sell, rent, or sub-license material from SoGrizz Quilting

• Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from SoGrizz Quilting

• Redistribute content from SoGrizz Quilting

• Any patterns (either free or paid) acquired from the SoGrizz website, may be used for personal use only. No patterns may be used to produce items for sale. No patterns may be sold on to third parties.

Workshops and attendance:

When signing up for any SoGrizz workshop, your participation is confirmed after payment has been received. Payment is done by bank transfer (or cash).

Because SoGrizz workshops are always very small groups (2-4 people), it is desirable that all participants who have signed up, also actually attend.

SoGrizz Quilting reserves the right to cancel any workshop with too few attendees.

Participants shall be notified when numbers are (too) low, and given a choice to continue or not.

Participants can cancel their attendance by sending an email to sogrizzquilting@gmail.com

• for a full refund, cancellation must occur no later than 14 days before the commencement of the workshop.

• for a 50% refund, cancellation must occur no later than 7 days before the commencement of the workshop.

• any cancellations after this time will not be eligible for a refund.

• participants can choose to send another person in their place, instead of cancelling. This must be communicated to SoGrizz Quilting per email.

Materials and patterns:

The online description of each workshop will include the following information:

• indication of skill level

• time & date

• duration of session & number of sessions

• price

• details of materials included/excluded

After a person signs up to a workshop (by sending an email to sogrizzquilting@gmail.com), they will receive a reply email containing all further information, including:

• bank details/payment requirements (your participation can only be confirmed after payment has been received).

• a link to these terms & conditions.

• materials they are required to bring along to the workshop, if any.

• materials that will be included in the workshop.

Managing your information:

SoGrizz Quilting collects the following data, for the following purposes:

• your name

• your email address

This data is collected and stored purely for direct communications between SoGrizz Quilting and yourself.
Direct communications take place through email.
Emails are sent to present, explain, confirm, cancel or amend services offered by SoGrizz Quilting.
This data shall never be shared with third parties.

At any time you may request that your data be removed from the SoGrizz Quilting database. Simply send an email with your request to sogrizzquilting@gmail.com

Code of conduct:

SoGrizz Quilting aspires to provide a harassment-free workshop experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave without a refund at the discretion of the workshop organiser.
Furthermore, participants are expected to treat the venue, machines and materials with respect, and to cause no intentional damage.
