Who should sign up for this workshop?
This course is for anyone who completed part 1, OR for anyone who
knows how to do basic patchwork and is confident at the
sewing machine and pressing table.

Participants are expected to have a sewing machine at home as well, so as to complete 'homework'.

What skills will you learn?
In this installment, you will have plenty of time to practice and perfect your measuring, cutting, stitching and pressing skills, but we will also be introducing the technique of ‘sewing curves’. As you practice, you will also continue to learn more about the workings of the sewing machine.

Sewing curves might be a little trickier than sewing straight seams, but no longer a problem after a bit of practice! You will be learning how to sew curved seams using templates (e.g. Orange Peel), how to make your own templates (e.g. Drunkards Path), and finally how to improvise curved seams.

What will you make?
During the final lesson you will be putting your curvy blocks together to create a product of your own choice (e.g.: place mats, coasters, mini quilt, a pillow cover, a tote bag, etc.)

Materials provided and included in the price:
All fabric needed, including fusible interfacing;
The use of any templates needed;
Use of sewing machine (although you are welcome to bring your own);
Use of thread, scissors, rotary cutter, seam ripper, rulers, ¼ inch and walking foot, pins, markers, etc.
